Iraq\u2019s Meteorological Authority announced on Friday the country\u2019s weather forecast for the coming days, expecting a gradual rise in temperatures.<\/p>\n
In a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the authority said that Saturday\u2019s weather will be clear across all regions, with northwesterly winds ranging between 10\u201320 km\/h, strengthening to 20\u201330 km\/h during the day in parts of southern Iraq. Temperatures will slightly increase in the north, while remaining similar to the previous day in central and southern regions. Highs are expected to reach 41\u00b0C in Baghdad, 44\u00b0C in Basra, and 36\u00b0C in Duhok and Sulaymaniyah.<\/p>\n
The authority added that weather on Sunday and Monday will remain mostly clear, with northwesterly winds of moderate speed, while temperatures will stay close to current levels across the country.<\/p>\n
